Greetings from Malaysia!
In line with the divine call of our Holy Mother to spread Sahaja Yoga, a group of 40
yogis from the west coast of Malaysia embarked on a 3 day tour of the east coast to reach out to
seekers in the states of Kelantan, Trengganu and Pahang, and spread the darshan of our Holy
Mother. Sahaja Yoga has yet to be established in the east coast of Malaysia unlike the west coast
where through the grace of our Divine Mother, SY has been flourishing.
The east coast is domiciled largely by our Muslim brethrens, especially Kelantan, which has been under the rule
of an opposition party, a fundamentalist Islamic group. Non-Muslims make up less than 5% of
the population in these states. We left the Kuala Lumpur ashram at 9 pm on 18 August 2005 by
bus, traveling through thick jungle and mountain ranges all with the sole objective of spreading
the word of our Holy Mother.
